The first Treatment and Rehabilitation
Camp (New Life Garden)
at Yuen Long opened to clients and two local evangelists sent by Shepherd
Community Grace Church served as full-time staffs at the centre.

Started to operate a Half-Way Hostel at
Sheung Shui, but closed as it could not satisfy the licensing requirement
in August 2003.

Established the Headquarters and
counseling centre at Tai Kok Tsui.

Thanksgiving ceremony held and at the same
time we had nine full-time staffs, five housemen and forty-three clients at
the centre.

Took over "Mission Ark"
Rehabilitation Centre and converted it from a female to male centre.

Established "New Life Services
Ltd" to provide occupational training for clients to improve their
confidence and social skills, thus facilitating them to better integrate
into the community.

A musical concert "Drug Free - to be
Ginger" held to promotion prevention of substance abuse held at the
Baptist Academic Community Hall with very well responds.

The founder of the association, Mr Cheng
Chun Wah was ordained as Reverend. In December the same year, another
founder, Mr Chan Chiu Ting was also ordained as Reverend.

2004

Co-operated with "Baptist Life
Church" to
introduce the 12 steps Rehabilitation Treatment to help those suffering
drug addicts and substance abusers at Jordan City Centre.

Sent the first rehabilitated client to
study a one year full-time SCM training course. He returned back to the
Association as ministry after graduated. He became the first ministry
trained by the Association.

The Association was invited by Malaysia
Churches to organize an evangelical team to preach all round the country in
2004 and 2005

|
Rev. Cheng Chun Wah, Sam, being
representative of the Association, was appointed as member of Sub-committee
on Treatment and Rehabilitation, Action Committee Against Narcotics, HKSARG

Toke over "New Life Jabbok Tea
Garden" which is a tea club providing many facilities for tourist. It
provides a good opportunity to rehabilitated clients to learn new skills in
serving customers, managing relationship with supervisor and colleagues.

Developed Treatment and Rehabilitation
centre for those suffering drug addicts and substance abusers in Mainland China.
Established "Morning Light Recovery Ministry" to train local staffs
co-operate with Hong Kong Ministry to carry such works. We have three
centres there now.

Sent the second team of 7 rehabilitated
clients to study the one year full-time SCM training course. Five of them
returned back to the Association continuing their ministry work after
graduated. This has really strengthened the manpower of the Association.

January 2006
|
Established the "1010 Church of
Abundant Life" at Jordan.
It was formed for the purpose of Sunday Mission Meeting of clients and
their family members. There is an average of 120 persons attending the
service every week.

The first Baptism ceremony of "1010 Church of Abundant Life" was held, were 16
persons baptized and joined the Association. The second Baptism ceremony of
"1010 Church
of Abundant Life"
was held on 1 October 2006, 20 persons baptized and joined the Association.

|
Sent the third team of 10 rehabilitated
clients to study the one year full-time SCM training course. In addition,
there were 5 workers completed the “Certificate Course in Drug Treatment
and Rehabilitation for Peer Counsellors and Social Workers” held by The
Baptist University. They proved to provide more efficient and effective
works to the Association.

We have thirty-five full time staffs, ten
on-job training housemen and more than eighty clients at the centres.
|
